OUR HISTORY
Pearce Construction, originally named Chester A. Dean Construction Company, has been serving the Kansas City Metro area since 1953. Don Pearce joined the Dean Construction family in 1976, after serving 12 years in the architectural field. Shortly thereafter, Chester and Don formed Dean-Pearce Construction. Several years later, the name was changed to Pearce Construction. In 1995, Don expanded the architectural influence by welcoming Darin Heyen, a registered architect, to Pearce Construction. In 2009, Darin became an equity partner and now has sole ownership of the company.

We have a track record of innovative solutions for over 750 projects and a full range of construction management services. Before we build anything, we build trust. OUR VISION
During our early careers in architecture, we realized a disconnect between the architect, owner and contractor throughout the design and construction of projects. There were frustrations that owners had regarding design, cost and schedule. We recognized and developed a better way of delivering a project. Through collaboration, partnership and open communication, from the early stages of design to the completion of construction, we established a true process of providing great design through practical construction methods that reduced overall costs, improved the building function and provided cost data to each team member to maximize the project budget. Simply stated, we help our clients realize their design vision through our construction passion.
